Biography : is Research Director at the French Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), Director of the Institut des Sciences Analytiques & de Physicochimie pour l’Environnement & les Matériaux IPREM (UMR 5254) and Director of the l’EQUIPEX MARSS (Centre of Mass Spectrometry for Reactivity and Speciation Sciences). His main professional interests are the fate and translocation of metal species and organometallic compounds between different compartments of the environment, pioneering approaches in both sample preparation and derivatisation, and the development of hyphenated techniques using atomic spectroscopy as the detector (AAS, AFS, ICP/AES, ICP/MS) for the routine use of metal species determination.
